I am Ridma Palansuriya, a passionate and results-oriented Computer Science Undergraduate at IIT affiliated with the University of Westminster, UK who is intersted in UX/UI Design, Mobile Application Development and Web Development with a knack for turning complex ideas into user-friendly interfaces.
My journey into the realm of technology began when I was pursuing a Diploma after my A/Ls, with a simple Desktop Application featuring Voice Assistance as my final project using C#, the joy of seeing my code come to life ignited my passion to become a developer.
Since then, I've honed my skills and expanded my repertoire, embracing new challenges and opportunities for growth. One of my proudest achievements is leading my SDGP team to success in my recent project "EnergyEffix", a Mobile Application integrated with IoT-based Smart Meter and integrated with a Regression Based Prediction Model.

EnergyEffix is an innovative electricity management mobile application designed to help users monitor and reduce their energy consumption. By connecting to a customized IoT Smart Meter, it provides real-time data on electricity usage, allowing users to set personalized reduction goals. The app leverages machine learning algorithms to offer predictive insights and actionable tips, making energy management both efficient and user-friendly.
